Architecture School Faculty (Assistant → Professor)

The pathSkills

You teach and research at architecture colleges and universities. Pay-matrix salaries (researchable to the rupee), stable and prestige-driven, governed primarily by CoA architecture-education norms for core B.Arch institutions. An M.Arch is the main entry credential; UGC NET is not a blanket statutory requirement for core architecture faculty, and a PhD is advantageous for progression.

The steps in this path

Common questions

For core architecture institutions, CoA norms make B.Arch + M.Arch the key Assistant Professor route; UGC NET is not a blanket statutory requirement. A PhD is strongly advantageous and often expected for progression, but Associate Professor eligibility can be met with M.Arch plus the required experience.
